Summer is here! And what better way to beat the blistering heat than to invite some friends over, throw some food on the grill, and share a few drinks? Every gathering needs a top-notch playlist to keep the guests lively and participant, and it just so happens I’ve come up with what I think is a top tier “Summer 2K19” playlist!
The songs I have chosen on this playlist are both old and new, giving it the spice and pizazz I think it needs. The songs I chose are lively, filled with relaxing and uptempo melodies, and handpicked to bring the feeling of “Summer” to any kickback.
It was hard for me to make these choices at first. As a person who listens to multiple genres of music, it was hard to only have 30 songs on a playlist. When I make playlists, I try to envision myself wherever I plan to play the music in my head. From Jay-Z to Drake, to Future. I can see myself at a cookout having the time of my life to every one of these songs.
