Denzel Phillips is an American singer, songwriter and contemporary POP, R&B musician. At the age of 3 singing, his mother Nannette Sims realized he had a gift. Entered into a host of talent show and performance plays by the age of 9 he quickly began to win 1st place wherever he performed. Having his talents solidified by high school; his name in his hometown of Athens, Ga. became popular. By age 17 He recorded his first song “We In The Party”. That next year at 18 he did a tribute to Michael Jackson and sung the Nation Anthem at The National Pan Hellenic Council Step Show where he won the crowd away with his performance. Shortly after that, he graduated from Winder-Barrow High School. Ready for Superstardom, Denzel Phillips moved to the musical city that is Atlanta GA., hitting the ground running he did his 1st showcase at Apache Café in Atlanta, GA., later that year he opened up for Grand Hustle’s artist Young Dro in Athens, GA. where he sung his song “More” upstaging himself he then booked opening act for Ciara in Atlanta, Ga. Denzel Phillips at 22 years of age,is not only a singer but he is a true definition of a performer. Currently Denzel is in the studio working on an EP which will be released later on in the Winter of 2016 Denzel genre is Pop/R&B. Phillips looks forward to taking the world by storm.
